On the reverse, the handwritten caption reads “View over towards Torquay.” A solitary comic book figure has been collaged alongside — jacket sharp, gaze pensive, pink phone in hand — interrupting the scene with just a flicker of narrative.

Mounted on a hand-painted argyle-style board in navy, pink and blue, and framed in a dark, slim wooden frame, this is a quiet moment made curious.

Curated and assembled in the Haus of Beige studio, this piece gives forgotten paper ephemera and rescued imagery a second life and just enough presence to hold their own.
